Who we are This website belongs to Mana Kitchen Ubud, Bali.

What we collect When you open this site we record nothing that identifies you personally. We count visits so we can see which pages are read, and that count holds no name, no address and no cookie. If you send us a message through the form, we receive what you typed into it, along with the email address or phone number you gave us so we can answer. If you place an order, we receive your name, the way to reach you, what you ordered, and the address it is going to.

Why we collect it We use what you give us to do the thing you asked for — answer your message and send your order — and for nothing else. We do not sell it, we do not hand it to anybody who wants to advertise to you, and we do not send you anything you did not ask for.

Cookies This site sets no cookie to follow you around and carries no advertising trackers of any kind. What it does keep is the little your own browser needs to remember between one page and the next: which version of the page you asked for, and how far you had got. It also remembers what is in your basket while you are still filling it, because a basket that empties itself when you look at the next page is not a basket. All of that stays on your device, is sent nowhere, and disappears the moment you clear it. Where a page has a map or a video from somewhere else embedded in it, that company may set one of its own — we do not read it, and we get nothing from it.

Who else sees it Nobody else sees it, with these exceptions: the company that runs this website stores it for us, and where a payment is taken it is handled by a payment provider, who receives what they need to take it and nothing more. Neither of them uses it for anything of their own.

How we keep it safe What you send us is stored by the company that runs this website and is reached only by the people here who need it to do the thing you asked for. We do not copy it onto laptops, spreadsheets or a list kept somewhere else. No website can promise that nothing will ever go wrong; what we can promise is that we hold as little as possible, for as short a time as we can, which is the only protection that works whatever happens.

How long we keep it We keep it only as long as it is useful for the thing it was given for, and for as long as the law requires us to keep a record of a sale. After that it is deleted.

What you can ask for You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us and we will do it.

What we offer We offer what is described on these pages. Where a service, a dish or a product is listed, the description is what we intend it to be — the details can change, and the page is kept up to date as they do.

Prices Prices are the ones shown on the page at the time you look at them, in the currency shown. Where a price can change — with a season, a size or an option — the page says so. If a price on the page is wrong, we will tell you before anything is charged.

Orders and payment An order is made when you send it and is accepted when we accept it. Payment is taken in the way shown at the time. If we cannot supply something you ordered, we will tell you and you will not be charged for it.

Using this site The words and the photographs on these pages are ours and are here so you can see what we do. You are welcome to read them, to send somebody a link to them and to print a page for yourself. Putting them on another business's website is the one thing we ask you not to do. Where a page links somewhere else — a map, an account on another site, somebody we work with — that place has its own rules and we do not decide what it says.

Changes to these pages What is written here is how we work today. If that changes, this page changes with it, and the version in front of you is the one that applies. What we will not do is change it to take back something you have already booked, ordered or paid for: whatever was on the page on the day you agreed to it is what you agreed to.

If something is wrong If something is not right, tell us. We would rather hear it and put it right than have you leave unhappy. Nothing here takes away any right the law gives you as a customer. Tell us in whatever way is easiest for you, as soon as you notice it — every way of reaching us on this site arrives with the same people.

The law that applies This site and anything you agree to on it are governed by the law of ID.
